Simply follow the steps below to apply for admission to the Cégep de la Gaspésie et des Îles or the École des pêches et de l’aquaculture du Québec.

Step 1 Choosing Your Program of Study

Step 2 Consult the Conditions of Admission
Admission requirements are specified on each program page.
If you do not meet all the requirements listed, the CEGEP may admit a person on the basis that they have training that is deemed equivalent. An individual may also be admitted if he or she has sufficient training and experience as determined by the college and has been out of full-time study for a cumulative period of at least 24 months.
Step 3 Fill out the Admission Form
Applications for admission must be completed on the website of the Service régional d’admission au collégial de Québec (SRACQ), by the following deadlines:

Only one application per round is possible.
Step 4 Receive Your Admission Answer
- The answer to your application for admission for the fall semester will be sent to you no later than:
- 1st Round: April 6
- 2nd Round: May 23
- 3rd Round: June 15
The answer to your application for admission for the winter semester will be sent to you no later than:
- 1st Round: November 20
- 2nd Round: December 15
Step 5 Pay the Semester Fees
After your admission, the Cégep de la Gaspésie et des Îles will send you by email information concerning the payment of your registration fees (around May 15 for the fall semester and around November 15 for the winter semester).
Semester fees are non-refundable after registration has been confirmed. Semester fees for the 2021-2022 year are as follows:
- Carleton-sur-Mer Campus: $163
- Gaspé Campus: $159
- Magdalen Islands Campus: $151
- ÉPAQ: $151
Step 6 Confirm Your Course Selection
After your admission, the Cégep de la Gaspésie et des Îles will send you by email the information you need to make your course selection. You will be able to fill out the forms at the online student services center Omnivox.
Step 7 Taking Possession of Your Schedule
Your course schedule will be available four to five days before the start of the semester on the Omnivox portal. Receipt of your schedule is mandatory and will confirm your registration. If the schedule is not received by the deadline, a late fee will be added to your file.
Step 8 Start the Course
Classes begin around August 20 in the fall semester and end around December 20. Winter semester classes begin around January 20 and end around May 20. For exact dates, visit the Official Documents and Calendars section. Have a good semester!
