It is through the Registrar’s office that you can obtain official documents (transcript, copy of diploma, certificate, etc.).
Download a document
The “Document request” module on Omnivox allows you to download, free of charge in most cases, the documents that are frequently requested.
- To access the module, go to Omnivox in ”My Omnivox Services section” and select “Document resquest”.
- Choose from the different document options available.
- Electronic documents can be downloaded in PDF format by clicking on “Retrieve your document”.
- The Skytech seal of authenticity, which can be found at the bottom of the page, confirms the validity of the document produced.
Documents that cannot be downloaded electronically will be produced by a member of the school organization within three business days. A person will notify you when the document is ready and inform you of the retrieval procedure.
Report card
The session report is issued within two weeks following the end of the exams. You can access your report via Omnivox.
Diploma
Generally, the processing of files ends at the end of June if the program is completed in the winter session and at the beginning of February if the program is completed in the fall. Courses taken at another college or in partnership extend this deadline. Successful completion of the uniform test in the native language after the end of the program also influences the date that the report is issued. The Executive Committee approves the list of graduates on the same dates as the Board of Directors.
Changing contact information
You must notify the Cégep of any changes to your contact information to receive the necessary documents to continue your studies.
You can update your mailing address, email address, and phone number in your file on Omnivox. We also encourage you to add your Social Insurance Number (SIN), which is required to file tuition tax statements.
Change of name form
You would like to use a different first name at CEGEP because you don’t identify with your current name? It is possible to do so, and this name will appear on the CEGEP’s internal documents. The process is simple, in Omnivox select Document requests and choose the Change of name for internal use. Your official name would appear on documents sent to the ministère de l’Enseignement supérieur.
Tax slips
To get your tax slips, you must enter your Social Insurance Number before February 1st. The statements will be available on Omnivox from March 1st.
