French Help Center
Services offered
French help centers offer several individual help services in written French and literary analysis: personalized follow-ups, drop-in help, workshops, and online resources.
Two types of support are offered: regular or one-off. Regular support is reserved for students who need regular help. Meetings are weekly or bi-monthly. One-off support offers periods each week to meet specific needs that do not require follow-up. Different types of workshops are offered:
- Diagnostic tests;
- Explanations related to a particular rule and supervised exercises;
- Dictations or supervised formative writing;
- Introduction to reference works;
- Assistance with correcting assignments to be submitted, with Antidote (note: this is not about coming to have your work corrected, but about receiving support to learn how to do better self-correction);
- Preparatory sessions for the French Uniform test.
