Getting in shape

Workout programs

Some programs involve tests and fitness programs. We make them available here for anyone who would like to take advantage of them.

Concussion

What can be done ?

To recognize the signs of a concussion and to know what to do if you are a victim or witness an incident suggesting a concussion, please consult the following page:

Accidental overdose

Safety guidelines for social events :

  • At a party, as soon as you experience any unusual effects, notify a trusted person;
  • Always keep your drinks with you;
  • Never accept drinks from strangers;
  • Use substances only with trusted people and avoid being alone;
  • Never leave an intoxicated person alone: make sure to accompany them to the emergency room if needed (vomiting, dizziness, drowsiness, unusual behavior); if someone is unconscious, call 9-1-1 immediately and stay with them until help arrives.
  • Visiting the emergency room within 48 hours after intoxication allows, among other things, to have proof if you wish to file a complaint.

Naloxone

Naloxone kits are available on all campuses, and some are given to individuals organizing social events for the students. You can get information from psychosocial support resources or from the student life coordinators at your campus.
