Parents in School

The Gaspé campus is home to a childcare center, the CPE des Butineurs. It offers educational and childcare services to children from zero to five years of age in a work and study environment, within the premises of the Gaspé campus. Priority is given to CEGEP employees and students.

The CPE des Butineurs applies the Ministry’s educational program aimed at well-being, global development and healthy lifestyle habits and offers a learning model based on autonomy, creativity and the full development of the children.

Putting Your Child on the Centralized Waiting List

La Place 0-5, a hub of information and resources, has the mission of accompanying parents until they obtain a place within a childcare center. It is now the only one-stop shop for access to educational and childcare services in Québec. Register as soon as you announce your pregnancy, or if you are in the process of adopting. As an employee or student of the Cégep de Gaspé, your registration will be given priority.
