In Action Against Sexual Violence
The CEGEP is committed to providing a healthy teaching and working environment free of sexual violence. If you are a victim of a situation that goes against this, we want to know about it.
On March 19, 2019, the Board of Directors of the Cégep de la Gaspésie et des Îles adopted its Policy to Prevent and Fight against Sexual Violence.
At all times, if you feel you are in danger, call 9-1-1.
If you need to reach a professional psychosocial intervention resource quickly, call 811, line 2. The service is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and is anonymous.
To consult the Institutional Policy to Prevent and Combat Sexual Violence, we invite you to consult the page Official Documents of the CEGEP.
To disclose or report a situation of sexual violence(s), please use the form below.
For all educational complaints that are not related to sexual violence, please refer to the complaint procedure found on the Omnivox community Information Cégep and Board of Directors, Procedures section.

Educational Information
In order to establish a culture of respect and non-violence at the Cégep de la Gaspésie et des Îles, we ask that you watch the online training on consent and sexual violence as soon as possible. As required by provincial law, each student must take such training at least once during their college path. Here is the link that will give you access to this training (40 minutes). The contact information for the various support services (e.g.: CAVACS, Tel-Jeunes) are indicated during the training.Other videos
