Sports centers

Built on the Carleton-sur-Mer campus, the sports center is accessible to the student community as well as to the entire population of the region. It has a gymnasium, training room and golf simulator. A diverse program of sporting activities is offered there, under the responsibility of the organization Bouge pour que ça bouge.  

Gymnasium

The gymnasium of the sports center has various equipment that allows you to practice many sports such as basketball, volleyball, badminton, futsal, pickleball, tennis, spikeball, hockey ball, ultimate frisbee, disc golf, kin-ball, etc. It also has a range of equipment for children.  

To take advantage of the gymnasium activities, you just obtain a daily access pass or a Sports Pass available in different options.  

It is also possible to rent the gymnasium to practice group sports or organized activities (ex.: kids birthday).

Training room

To get in shape during free training or a group class, the Carleton-sur-Mer sports center offers a most pleasant atmosphere with a view of the Baie des Chaleurs.  

It offers:  

  • a variety of cardiovascular devices (treadmills, ellipticals, rowers, exercise bikes);  
  • various bodybuilding machines 
  • an area with free weights and space for functional training. 

It is also possible to receive support from a kinesiologist.  

To benefit from the training room, you must obtain a daily access pass or subscription.

Golf simulator

Golf enthusiasts can practice their sport warm even in the heart of winter thanks to the simulator of the Carleton-sur-Mer sports center. At the cutting edge of technology, the golf simulator faithfully reproduces real golf shots.  In addition, it offers a selection of around thirty courses which are among the most beautiful in the world. 

The golf simulator is also an entertaining activity, even for people uninitiated to the sport.  

It is possible to obtain a single access pass or to become a member to benefit from a preferential rate later.
