The Cégeps en spectacle regional final is getting ready in the Magdalen Islands!

The Magdalen Islands campus of the Cégep de la Gaspésie et des Îles invites the entire population to the multidisciplinary show of the prestigious Cégeps en spectacle intercollegiate competition, which will be presented at the Polyvalente des Îles on Saturday, March 18, 2023, at 7:30 p.m. Artists from twelve colleges will perform to try to reach the national final, which will take place on April 29 in Terrebonne.

This is the second time that the Îles-de-la-Madeleine campus has hosted and organized the regional final. In 2009, the cégep hosted the 31st edition. For this 44th edition of Cégeps en spectacle, various acts will be presented, ranging from public speaking to music, including singing and even the circus, for an evening rich in talent. Graduates in Arts, Letters and Communication from the Carleton-sur-Mer campus and Tommy Aucoin from the Îles-de-la-Madeleine campus will host the show. Michael Bourgeois will represent the campus with a musical number.

Cédric Landry, an artist from the Îles-de-la-Madeleine, will oversee the non-competitive part. This exceptional actor, storyteller and improviser will take the public on a fantastic journey.
