Gaspé campus celebrates its 130 graduates at its gala

The Gaspé campus of the Cégep de la Gaspésie et des Îles held its annual gala last Saturday, May 6, 2023, to celebrate the end of its students’ college career. The event was held in attendance at the Marcel-Bujold Sports Pavilion gymnasium with students and staff members.
The time had come to celebrate and congratulate the graduates. Thanks to the financial support of valuable partners, 35 scholarships totaling $12,150 highlighted academic success, commitment, and perseverance.
The Governor General’s Academic Medal was awarded to Marie-Michèle Denis for maintaining the highest overall average throughout her academic career.
The scholarship recipients are as follows:

Perseverance scholarships were also randomly drawn by the student association and by Serge Rochon, Academic Dean of the Gaspé Campus. The Cégep de la Gaspésie et des Îles congratulates its graduates and wishes them the best of success in the pursuit of their dreams.
