A Spring of Creativity: Two Exhibitions and a Call for Projects at the Chrysalide Art Gallery
Published on
This spring, the Chrysalide Art Gallery on the Gaspé campus will present two new exhibitions and is issuing a call for proposals for a professional exhibition to be held in the fall of 2026.
April 1 | New Call for Professional Projects
The Chrysalide Gallery, in collaboration with the Vaste et Vague Artist Centre, is launching a call for proposals today for a professional exhibition to be held from September through November of this year. Interested parties are invited to submit their applications by April 30, 2026.
This project is made possible thanks to financial support from the Government of Quebec, as part of the sectoral development agreement for the revitalisation of the cultural sector to promote the Gaspé Peninsula, in partnership with Culture Gaspésie, the Bonaventure RCM and the Table des préfets des MRC de la Gaspésie.

29 April | Talisman Exhibition
The extracurricular arts group will exhibit its work at the Chrysalide Gallery from 29 April to 6 May. Entitled Pense-bêtes en kaléidoscope (kaleidoscopic reminders), the exhibition will showcase the creations of 24 students who have reflected on their character strengths and translated them into pieces of jewellery
12 May | Explozines and fanzines
From May 12 to 15, a dual exhibition—featuring both student and professional work—will showcase zines, which are small, experimental, handmade publications. As unique cultural artefacts, these self-published micro-magazines—produced in single print runs—emerge from a combination of graphic experimentation and personal expression.
The Chrysalide Art Gallery
