Cornélius Brohterton Foundation seeks young entrepreneurs

For the third year in a row, the Cornélius Brotherton Foundation of the Cégep de la Gaspésie et des Îles will be granting five bursaries to develop the entrepreneurial spirit in students. These bursaries are for students enrolled at the Cégep de la Gaspésie et des Îles.

A total of $2,500 (5 x $500) in bursaries will be awarded to encourage young entrepreneurs on each campus and to highlight the efforts of students who have developed and started small businesses during their studies. The bursaries will be awarded to five business owners who have earned distinction for their entrepreneurial qualities, their commitment to local development as well as for their sheer determination to succeed in school. Eligible students must be enrolled full time in a program of study at one of the College's campuses.

To apply for a bursary, students must fill out the form available on the Foundation's website at under the tab Bursaries and financial support. Entrepreneurs must also submit their business plans. The Foundation must receive all applications by April 12, 2013.

This bursary for budding entrepreneurs is an integral part of the funding program managed by the Cornélius Brotherton Foundation, the official foundation of the Cégep de la Gaspésie et des Îles.
