Record number of national mobility registrations: The Cégep de la Gaspésie et des Îles welcomes 26 students from Montréal this winter
The Cégep de la Gaspésie et des Îles is delighted to welcome 26 Montréal-area students to its classrooms this winter. This is the largest group since the agreements were signed. Last year, 21 students chose to experience life at the Gaspé Campus.
Of the 26, five are from Cégep du Vieux-Montréal, six from Vanier College, eight from Dawson College and seven from John Abbott College. All are enrolled in the Social Science program except one, who is studying in Natural Science.
They’ll be living at the College residence during their stay on the Gaspé Peninsula. In addition, they’ll enjoy a number of activities in the coming weeks that will be organised to help them discover the region and make their stay unforgettable.
It is important to point out that the Cégep de la Gaspésie et des Îles now has six mobility agreements with colleges in the greater Montréal region, with the Cégep du Vieux-Montréal, Vanier College, John Abbott College, Dawson College, Cégep Édouard-Montpetit and Cégep de Maisonneuve (which has an agreement with the Magdalen Islands Campus). The project gives students at those colleges the opportunity to come and do one term of their programs of study at the Cégep de la Gaspésie et des Îles. If they want, they can also make the most of the College’s special options, including Language Immersion and the Adventure Study Stream.
